FOOD FOR THOUGHT

In today’s society, we have more information at our fingertips and we have ever had. Yet the obesity is growing year after year.

People know what to do. They are just not doing

there are always some new diets running around always remember how God created us in the basic things we need to live a healthy lifestyle.

Stay hydrated by using the rule of drinking half your body weight in ounces of water.

Calories do matter take into many you get fat taking too few and you will lose muscle.

You need a certain amount of protein, carbohydrates and fat fuel your body. Everybody is different.

Fiber women shoot for 25 g a day in men 35 g a day. Most of us get 9 g or less a day.

Take a high-quality multivitamin and fish oils everyday as an insurance policy. I recommend 48 g of fish oils a day and for elite athletes sometimes more. Taking a multivitamin and mineral make sure it’s of sustained-release. One of the most underrated supplements is probiotics. And the best type is the refrigerated ones.

Exercise 30 to 60 minutes 35 times per week, focus on getting stronger safely. Do something to get your heart rate up as well. You can get your heart rate up by doing some type of circuit training as well as cardio exercise.

Use common sense.

Run the other way if you hear the following.

You don’t need to exercise.

Cut out a whole micro nutrient group like fats and carbs.

This one pill fixes everything.

Drink a shake for breakfast and a shake for lunch for the rest of your life.

Recommend things that you cannot maintain for longer than a week or two.

The best healthy lifestyle plan is one that you can consistently stay on for the rest of your life that makes sense.

Final thoughts, I’m always here to help
